The media for the most part is just waiting for him to fail so so they can tell all the fans "I told you so." They are waiting for the time when everything falls apart and he can't hack it in the NFL. They are waiting to be able to critique his throwing motion and his throwing accuracy and blaming that for the losses. They are waiting on the predictions that they put on him before he even played an NFL game that he would have to switch positions to make it in the NFL to come true along with the other opinions the experts have. The only problem is that Tebow has yet to fail at any level on the field and in life for that matter. I wonder how long these experts are going to have to wait? Wouldn't it be something if this team could find a way to make it to the Super Bowl this season? I am not saying it is going to happen by any means but one thing I will say is that after watching his first 6 starts I am not betting against him anymore.

"Aisle 4 Row 8 Seat 113"

After watching the documentary ESPN did on him tonight and seeing the way Cubs fans treated him initially and how some still do to this day it made me wonder. Why do Cubs fans or any fans for that matter go to this extreme at times. Fans were throwing beer at him, chanting obscene names at him, and yelling death threats at him. I heard one fan on the documentary say, " Put a 12 gauge in his mouth and pull the trigger." Really? Is that not a little too far? I understand the frustrations that Cubs fans have built up over the years if losing, and quite honestly I think they are some of the more passionate fans in the country. I don't know how they do it year after year. I then tried to think of personal experiences that I have had with teams that I am a fan of that experienced heart breaking losses in my life time. I remember sitting in the Georgia Dome by myself in Atlanta during the 2009 SEC championship game in the Alabama section when they crushed Florida 32-13. I sat in silence most of the 3rd and 4th quarters trying to figure out how they could lose during Tim Tebow's senior year when they weren't suppose to lose. I remember making the hour drive back to my place with the stereo off ,cell phone off, and in complete silence just reliving certain plays that went wrong. I had simialr feelings when the Colts lost to the Steelers on a Mike Vanderjagt missed field goal and when the Pacers lost game 7 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals against the Chicago Bulls. I don't think any of them match the way Cubs fans felt after that game with the Bartman incident.
This was a man that was hated. Sports has this way of getting inside people. We live for the chance to watch our team win, and when they don't we need to put the blame on someone or something. Sports gives people the chance to forget about whatever is going on in there lives for a few hours. They feel a sense of belonging with the other fans and even the team. I remember exactly where I was when great sports moments happened for the teams I cheer for. I even remember being in my college dorm during this game that everyone now calls "The Bartman Game"
Had you ever wondered what if the Cubs won game 7 and went on to the world series? How would that change the way Bartman is thought of in Chicago? People would forget about it because as long as the Cubs won that is all that mattered. It is 8 years later but there is still this mystique around that event. What is he doing now? How come he hasn't done any interviews? Will we ever hear or see from him about the incident? I can't speak for Cubs fans but I think it is time for them to let go of this and forgive the guy for just doing what any other baseball fan would of done.

"What Really Happened?"
Bin Laden has since arrived in hell where he encountered his first problem Doc Holliday. Everyone should remember him from the movie Tombstone. Bin Laden can't quite figure out why doc keeps saying things like, "Say when." and "I'll be your huckleberry." His next problem was Tony Montana who kept screaming "Say hello to the bad guy!" So it sounds like he has his hands full in hell.
In closing it is a great day to be an American. If this doesn't make you proud to live in the USA well then you my friend are not an American. I read a story about this guy on a plane last night and this lady broke down in tears when the news broke and he found out her husband was killed on 9/11. The whole cabin gave her a hug to console her. It took our country almost 10 years to find him but they did. I would like to thank everyone that was or is a current military member. We are truly blessed to live in this country and have them fight for our freedom.

"They're Back!"
You have to have about 3 pros to win a national title. Butler may have one. Guard Shelvin Mack had 24 points hitting five three pointers is Butler's best chance of being a pro off this team. He has been a major pain for every team in this tournament, and if Butler wins the title he will be the Final Four MVP. Matt Howard who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds is a wonderful college player. He just looks like he is 45 and calling "next" for a pick up game at the local YMCA.
I'm not a Butler fan, but it is hard to root against them come Monday night. Butler wins and does it the right way in an era of college sports where money and fame is everything. Butler plays UConn Monday evening who defeated Kentucky last night. Both Kentucky and UConn catch bad reputations from the general public to make a long story short for cheating. UConn coach Jim Calhoun is suspended for 3 conference games next season for NCAA violations. Kentucky coach John Calipari has been to 3 final fours, yet a reporter asked him the other day "How does it feel to be at your first final four?" because his 2 previous trips were vacated by the NCAA due to violations. Calipari didn't find it too amusing, but I did. Sunday, January 30, 2011

"Making A Difference"
When I worked as the sports director for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Las Vegas one of the clubs put on a 12 and under 7 on 7 flag football tournament. Seven out of the eight clubs that were in the tournament had a weeks notice about the event. My club that I worked at had 2 days notice thanks to my boss for not tellling me right away. My boss was fired a few months later, I know shocking right. I coached the team I put together a group of 9 kids and had two days to get them ready to go. A couple hours of running over the plays I wanted to use and the system I was going to use to call the plays in from the sidelines. The tournament took place on a Friday over the summer. It began with pool play and then the top 4 teams advanced to the tournament. The rules stated the coach could be in the huddle after every play. I wasn't going to do that though. I figured if I could speed up my offense I would catch the defense off guard by calling the plays from the sideline by saying a color followed by a U.S. state and that would symbolize which play to run. I was suprised that it worked. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to do that for very long. Let me introduce you to the O'Shea and Deion show. These were 2 twelve year olds on my team that were already playing on a pop warner team, so they had a decent knowledge of the game. I would rotate them between quarterback and runningback after every play. Most of the time it would be a sweep to the left or the right with a pass here and there.
The games were scheduled for two 12 minute halfs. Our first game didn't start as planned. We were down 7-0 and my quarterback threw a pick 6 so now we were down 14-0 at halftime. Now the area where I worked in Las Vegas is the 3rd worst neighborhood in the country as far as drugs, gangs, and crime rate are concerned. The kids I delt with on a daily basis were for the most part from a rough home life. The kids didn't really respect authoritative figures in their lives. Every day at work was a struggle with the kids, but something I enjoyed doing. I remember looking at those kids faces at halftime. They were upset and pointing fingers at each other for whose fault it was for losing. I clapped my hands together to put a stop to that talk and told the kids to forget about that stuff. I don't remember word for word how I said it, but I explained to the kids that there is going to be times in life as you grow up where things don't always go your way, it's up to yourself on how you can change the situation. I told them you got two choices right now. You can continue to pout and we will lose this game, or you can suck it up and try to win this game. Now I will be honest with you I didn't expect us to win that game. I've seen these kids lay down and quit numerous times since I began working with them. I figured everything I said went in one ear and out the other. I was wrong.
The second half of that game couldn't of gone any better. We came out and scored a touchdown in 3 plays. We never looked back after that. We ended up winning that game 21-14. I was as proud as I ever was while I worked at that club. I was happy for those kids. Seeing the joy on their faces after that game and them joking around with each other was great to see. We won the #1 seed during the pool play and it was time for the tournament. The coach from the other team took this thing a little to seriously and approached me before the game and told me that "They would take it easy on us." We didn't play them in pool play so I was just like "Umm okay." We ended up winning that game 35-0. Thanks for the warning coach. We ended up playing the team that we played our first game against in the finals. Some of the kids looked concerned because we really had no business winning that game. We came down and scored on the first possession and then Deion made a interception that was amazing. The kid from the opposing team dove for a catch and kicked the ball in the air. Deion dove and caught it and got up and ran it back for a touchdown. We were up 14-0 in a matter of minutes. We won that game 42-7. I had to take Deion and O'Shea out with a few minutes left because they were both playing safety and intercepting almost every deep pass. I wish I would of left them in because they found a water cooler and doused me with it.
I was extremely happy for those kids. Some of them had never won anything before in their lives. We got a team trophy and medals for the kids, along with a free pizza party that followed. Usually when the kids ate together they always found something to argue about and I would have to break it up. Today though was different. They ate and were laughing about whatever they were talking about. I sat there and just watched them. They took what I said and stood up for themselves instead of quitting like they had in the past. In the van ride home I let them listen to whatever they wanted to on the radio and they were having a ball singing along and dancing to the radio. I took the long way back to the club and drove the kids down the Las Vegas strip to keep this celebration going as long as I could. The "Teach Me How To Dougie" song came on and the kids were all dancing to it. We were at a stoplight and they asked me to try it. I did and it was not pretty. The kids were laughing at me, but I didn't care. The boys were pointing and talking about the girls they saw walking on the strip. I was trash talking back and forth with them about certain things. It was a pretty fun day all in all. After that day I began to notice I didn't have too many problems with those kids I took on that football trip. I use to have to kick Deion and O'Shea out of the gym on a weekly basis for causing problems. Now they were wanting to help me with the little kids activities.
Unfortunately I had to move back to Indy. I wish I could have stayed out there and continued to work with those kids. I was finally making some progress with them. I didn't tell any of the kids I was leaving. It would of been to hard to answer their questions that they would of asked. My second to last day there I was sitting in my office towards the end of the day. Deion's little 7 year old brother Tyrice came up to me with a picture he had made. He handed it to me and I looked at it but couldnt really tell what it was. I saw a person and some grass but that was it. I asked him what it was, he was smiling from ear to ear and he told me it was him playing footballl and that he was going to play on my team when he got older like his brother did. I will never forget that day. I was at a loss for words. I think about those kids every day, and hope they are doing well.

Lockout 2011
If both leagues are locked out next year I then wondered what I would do with my free time with no fantasy football. I would be lost, fantasy football consumes my life in the fall. The trash talking on the message board, changing my team name from week to week to embarrass my upcoming opponent. So what should I do with my free time? I suck at golf so I won't be playing any of that. I'm not going to join a WNBA fantasy league or watch more women's basketball. I would rather sit in a bathtub and slit my wrists then do that. I might travel the country and attend college basketball games that Gus Johnson calls http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB2KOhEceNM I would consider a college football fantasy league but there are way to many schools and we would have to limit them to a certain number of conferences. I would probably make a road trip to see the Gators play in the swamp for the first time ever. Every time I've seen them play it has been on a neutral site. (Jacksonville, Atlanta, New Orleans) I might make my return to coaching CYO football at Holy Spirit. If all else fails I guess I can pick up a foot fetish like Jets coach Rex Ryan has. What I do know is that I will be depressed no matter what. Fantasy football is my crack. I hope everyone has a good new years, but don't puke before midnight, it's trashy. God bless.

Not A Care In The World
Most of you know this hasn't been the best few weeks of my life and to top it off yesterday I had 5 plumbers trying to fix a slab leak in my apartment all day yesterday and they had to come back today because it was still leaking after they left last night. Naturally I am angry and upset with that along with other events that I have become aware of, and I am thinking, man I guess things could always be worse, but how? Then I took a drive to get some dinner last night, nothing fancy just a ton of calories from Carl Jr's. It was a cool night in Vegas so I had the windows down. I approached a stoplight and saw a mother and two of her kids get off the bus and began crossing the street. The kids were decked out in full football gear, still wearing their helmets. I began to laugh as they were jumping up and down in the street holding their mothers hand, and she began to smile as well. I could hear them laughing and talking to each other. They reminded me of growing up and playing CYO sports and baseball at Warren Little League. As a kid I didn't have a care in the world. I just loved playing sports. I met most of my friends that I still have today through those times, but back to the family I saw. The two kids noticed a McDonald's on the corner of the street, and asked if they could have some. Their mother replied, "You know we can't afford that right now." You could see the dissapointment in her face as she said that along with the boys. They put their heads down and in a matter of seconds it looked like their day had been ruined. I wanted to be able to tell the boys what I've learned over the past few weeks.
Happiness in life can't be judged by how much money you have or don't have. What should matter to them is that they have a mother who cares about them and probably works atleast 1 job to put a roof over their heads and play football. Just as I've learned that I've always had a family and friends who care about me, especially these days. I would like to thank my family and REAL friends for being there for me the last few weeks. I appreciate it very much and hope I can return the favor someday. God Bless.Wednesday, April 21, 2010
"You Are The Father!"

Charles Rogers: The Michigan State receiver who turned out to do a lot more pitching than catching, if you catch my drift. Rogers has 5 kids by 4 women as well. He had 2 kids by 2 different women before leaving high school! The 6-foot-3 wide receiver entered the NFL as a can’t-miss prospect that Matt Millen claimed would become the face of the Detroit Lions franchise (which, oddly turned out to be sort of true). Rogers was a complete and utter failure. He logged just 14 NFL games before leaving the league in 2005, just in time to collect his fifth mouth to feed and an arrest for passing out drunk at a Mexican restaurant in Michigan at three in the afternoon.
Derrick Thomas: The former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker had 7 kids by multiple women. He realized that he had screwed up multiple times and just flat out died. Way to take the easy way out Thomas.* NFL, Darren McFadden (three illegitimate kids in four years of high school and college)

"Some Ride"
I wonder how that timeout went when Butler was down 1 with 13 seconds left. I can see it going something like this. Brad Stevens says, “Ok we are going to isolate Mack and let him go one on one with his man.” After hearing this all the Butler players put their heads down. Coach Stevens asks, “What’s the matter?” Gordon Hayward lifts his head with sweat dripping from his face and says, “I’ll make it.” All the Butler players have their spirits lifted and Coach Stevens agrees to go with it. Ok, so that is probably not how the timeout went, but I can dream right? Hayward almost made the winning shot on two different occasions. If Hayward makes that half court shot at the buzzer, this game goes from a great title game to the best shot in NCAA history and the best game in NCAA history. No questions asked, this game would’ve been talked about for decades to come. People would begin to ask who is Christian Laettner. This game may still be talked about for years to come.
With one season ending it brings up questions for what is next for Butler. Will coach Stevens stay or leave? I know other programs will offer a ton of money to him, including Oregon who has a ton of Nike money and great facilities. Some say Hayward could turn pro, and if Stevens leaves I think that will influence Hayward. If Stevens and Hayward both stay, then they return 4 starters and will compete once again for a national title. An avid college basketball fan outside the Midwest has heard of Butler, but now the casual fan knows where Butler is at. Will this change the type of recruits Butler pursues? Will McDonald’s All Americans now consider going to Butler? All of these questions will begin to unfold soon, and I hope Butler continues to have similar success.

"Heaters"
As my day went on I traded texts and emails from friends who were talking about the game. I even had people on my facebook talking about it. Thanks guys and gals, I appreciate it (insert sarcasm here.)It came to the point of my day where I asked myself, do I go online and watch these highlights? Seeing how I wasn’t working anyway I said ok. I logged on and watched them, and watched both teams trade 3 point shot after 3 point shot. It looked like a old school heavyweight boxing match. Listening to Gus Johnson morph into complete army drill Sgt. Instructor mode did not make me any happier. If you don't know anything about Gus Johnson please check out this youtube video, and if your a male and your dick doesn't get hard from listening to it, then you may want to try viagra or cialis and if your erection lasts longer than 4 hours you may want to see a doctor.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB2KOhEceNM All tourney long I wanted to here Gus Johnson at his best, and what happened? I fell asleep. I learned a lot from this mistake though. Never again will I go to bed during another NCAA tourney game. I don’t care if I have to buy aderol from a unreliable drug dealer or even snort a few lines of cocaine. I will never miss a NCAA tourney game for as long as I live outside a senior citizen home. I mean lets face it, at that point in life that’s out of my control and so are my bowel movements. Have a great rest of March Madness folks.

"Here Comes the Circus"
I heard the circus is in town, is that true? Oh wait you just hired Lane Kiffin as your head football coach. I don’t understand your thought process on this one USC. Your program is facing potential sanctions for NCAA violations and you go out and hire the head coach who lead the nation in violations last year, even if they were secondary violations. I have lost a lot of respect for USC in recent weeks and as of yesterday I hope this program just goes to shambles, and it will just give that idiot of a coach you just hired time. He will make you regret your decision, just like the Raiders and The University of Tennessee have. The guy makes promises to fans, players, and recruits that he will not uphold. For once Raiders owner Al Davis does not seem so senile to me, as he said this about Kiffin. "Lane Kiffin is a flat-out liar. He lied to the team, he lied to the fans, and he lied to the media. He will try to destroy that university like he tried to destroy the Raiders." - Al Davis, June 8, 2009
Naturally, Kiffin’s Tuesday night Tennessee “farewell” press conference started thirty minutes late and produced little more than a 60-second sound byte. He didn’t thank a school administrator, acknowledge any of his players and/or coaching staff by name, and stood nervously — like a weasel — with crossed arms, an all too casual short-sleeved polo shirt for the given circumstances, and a nervous sway. He alluded to his 14 months in Knoxville as if he’d been serving time in some far off distant land. This was not the same Lane Kiffin who boldly took swipes at Urban Meyer and exhibited great arrogance and bravado in media interviews throughout the season. This was a 34-year-old man (err, boy) who hasn’t won a thing as a head coach sneaking out the back door and creeping up the football coaching ladder, yet again. Below are some photos and youtube videos. They aren't exactly G-rated. If you scroll down you can even see Urban Meyer smiling when he receives the news. http://deadspin.com/5446833/ut-fans-now-attacking-defenseless-rock-burning-mattress-updateTuesday, December 8, 2009
"Thank You"
It has been some time since an athlete like Tim Tebow has come along. He has used football as a platform to get his mission out to the general public. It is not about how many football games you win, or how many championships you win, but how you can help affect the lives of others. I think it is safe to say Tebow has done a pretty good job of that. Who knew that Tebow would spend his spring breaks doing missionary work in the Philippines? That Tebow would spend much of his free time speaking to children in hospitals and orphanages and prisons throughout North Florida? That Tebow would make a "promise" during a live press conference to work harder than any player in the country, and then back it up en route to a championship? That 93 million people would Google "John 3:16" the day after Tebow wore the Bible verse on his eye black at the BCS Championship Game?I went to the SEC title game this past weekend, and saw how #15 has influenced others. I got to my seat nearly an hour before kickoff. I saw a family next to me, a husband and wife, along with their 7 year old boy. All three were wearing Tim Tebow jerseys. The man had told me that they weren’t that big of college football fans until one Saturday afternoon they were watching Florida and listened to the commentators talking about Tim Tebow and some of the programs he was involved with. He said, “We became instant fans, and my son just followed suit.” Their 7 year old boy was asleep when I met him. I asked his dad, “Is he sleeping?” His dad told me that he had his tonsils taken out a few days ago, and the medicine makes him tired. Shortly before kickoff he woke up. His seat was right next to mine, so I asked him, “You ready for this game?” He looked at me and smiled and said, “I wouldn’t miss this for the world.” The game didn’t go as planned, and that little boy was in tears as he then was sitting on his mothers lap. I wanted Florida to win just as much as the next gator fan did, but it didn’t work out that way. As I made the hour drive back to where I was staying, I took in what I had heard from that family and realized that Tim Tebow did his job and he did it better than anyone could ever ask for.
Thank you for the many great victories and championships you helped win. Thank you for “The Promise” and the promise that was kept. Thank you for the honor and integrity that you displayed. But most of all thank you for the memories. God Bless.

#1 vs. #2
Chances of Urban Meyer kissing Tebow? 100%. Come on that is a given. No way in hell that doesn't happen. It is about as routine as a stripper giving someone a lap dance. Shes done it a thousand times and has practiced as well. Yea it seems sexy and provocative to you, but think about it. It is her job, she knows how to grind on a guy to get money out of him.Fore! Tiger!

Queen James
To whom it may concern,
I attended the Pacers Cavs game on Friday January 20th and as I left the game I was disgusted with the acts of Lebron James. I am a Pacers season ticket holder and have been going to games my whole life and I don't think I could have lost more respect for one NBA player, than I did that night. Lebron is a great player, and like in every league, people are going to yell things and when that happened Friday night his behavior was totally unacceptable for any grownup or professional athlete. Quite frankly, it had me questioning why I would support a league that would let its star player act like that. Both of the incidents happened in the 2nd half. First a group of fans were yelling things toward the Cavs bench such as "we want Kobe", "Kobe is better" things of that nature. Not one time did a fan curse or say anything inappropriate. Lebron had a friend who was sitting behind the bench get a police officer to go ask them to be quiet. The police officer was sitting behind the bench all night and didn't say anything but Lebron was suddenly offended so the Police officer makes them stop? What did he miss that Lebron suddenly heard? Also, during that time Lebron was mouthing things to the fans that to me looked to be vulgar. That incident was far less bothersome than the 2nd incident. In the wake of Lebron's comments about the NFL; a group of fans had printed signs that read "Lebron vs. Peyton". The fans behind the bench were asking Lebron about going to the NFL and were yelling at him about the NFL as the Pacers played better- again no curse words were yelled. At the next timeout Lebron proceeded to walk towards the fans in the front row behind the bench and yell obscenities at them. He called them multiple curse words while standing with one leg on the bench as security intervened. Then, after the time out when the situation had calmed down, he yelled more things at the fans. In the state of the NBA economy, how can Lebron do that? The NBA has to do it better than any other league. Does the NBA really want its marqee player cursing and yelling at fans while there are children right in front of him? What kind of message is he sending to those kids? I am embarrassed to be an NBA fan and have no idea how I can ever support a player like Lebron after Friday night. The NBA has to protect the fans as much as the players, but in this case Lebron should not be protected. He instigated the whole matter when he aggressively approached the fans and yet the fans were the ones surrounded by the Police. Lebron should be shaking hands and telling people thank you for supporting his league. I grew up around professional baseball and played college football I know fans can bother players but there is no excuse for what Lebron did that night. The word that keeps coming to mind is disgusted. I couldn’t imagine what kind of things would happen to me with my business if I treated my customers like that? The reality is the NBA fan and NBA player will become more detached if this continues to happen. I appreciate you reading this and hope someone will contact me about this matter.

Patriots vs. Colts

First off I would like to thank NBC for picking this game up on Sunday night. Why, you might ask? Well as a Colts season ticket holder this year we begin our tailgate at 8 a.m. every game day, Brian and Nate are the veterans of the group. Actually I take that back I don’t know that I should thank NBC now that I think about that. That gives our group that tailgates, 12 hours to take part in binge drinking activities in our spot at the Delaware and South street lot. This has bad news written all over it. Most people have asked me, “Are you seriously going to start at 8 a.m. ?” As my good friend Nate tells them, “If it were easy everyone would do it.” I feel like there should be a helicopter on stand by if any of us need life lined, maybe a cute nurse with an IV at the tailgate. We sit in the end zone in section 625. That is one hell of a walk up the stadium and I sure as hell won’t be in any shape to put forth a good effort in making that walk. I might have to leave the tailgate at like 4 just to get there by kickoff. On Sunday I will probably be able to smell the booze coming off everybody in our section considering they got half a day to drink before the game starts. There is a 99.8 percent chance I will be calling into work on Monday (cough, cough). I think I’m coming down with a fever and the only prescription is more beer and a Colts win! You can’t win them all if you don’t win the first 9. See below for some of the section 625 crew. Brian is wearing the football glasses, Megan is voting for world peace, and I could use a refill on my beer. What else is new.
Now let’s talk about the actual game plan the Colts need to imply. On defense there is a semi clone of Bob Sanders, since his career is over in Indy. He goes by the name Clint Session. Bill Polian is a genius. Year after year this guy just plugs in no name college players into a system and turns them into studs. Session is a beast and should have a pretty good game. One key matchup is if Matt Light plays for the Pats or not. Even if Light does play I still believe Freeney wins this matchup. Freeney is on a tear this season and Light won’t be close to 100%. The Colts have 22 sacks on the season. The Colts are starting 2 rookie defensive backs, thank god Moss is getting older and not as good as he use to be. I give the edge to the Pats still but I do like the athleticism those DB’s bring to the table. The Colts are only giving up 13.5 points a game. On the other hand the Pats give up only 14.4. I am going to go out on a limb and say those numbers are going to go up after this week for both teams. Now let’s talk Colts offense vs. the Pats D. Peyton Manning is averaging 315 yards passing a game. I mean it’s not out of the question that he could reach 5,000 yards passing this year. Insane! I don’t see why he can’t light up this Pats secondary. Merriweather is banged up and may not even play. The Colts have given up the fewest sacks allowed this season and the Pats have only gotten to the QB 15 times in 8 games. So Peyton should have all day to throw and use that play action. Dallas Clark is having a career year along with Reggie Wayne having another pro bowl year as usual. The Colts have struggled with the run game, but the past couple games Addai and Brown have shown signs of life. So we will see which run game shows up.Friday, October 30, 2009
"Step Your Game Up!"

As I continued to watch football last weekend I began to take more of a notice of sideline reporters. Now to be honest I know that looks shouldn’t matter on who does what games, but it does in America. That’s just how our society works. Men want to see a young attractive reporter, which brings me to my next case. NBC has Andrea Kremer for their Sunday Night game. Last Sunday she was wearing some pink outfit with transition lens glasses. Umm not exactly taking the attractive approach there are we? One she is not attractive and two, what the hell is NBC trying to do when they tell her to wear that. No wonder NBC only does one NFL game a week. Shelly Smith is another reporter who needs to get the axe. She is not cute and I don’t want to see her while I’m watching football. Now Suzy Kolber isn’t bad looking at all. In fact if I got liquored up and did an interview with her, I might want to kiss her, Ala Joe Namath. Go get em Broadway Joe! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc65NC44dSk
My solution to this problem is easy people. Clone Erin Andrews. She is the mecca of sideline reporters. Any reporter who has a stalker that travels from hotel to hotel and tries to videotape them is legit. In fact when Erin Andrews is doing a game they need to have an automatic picture in picture. By that I mean have her on the big screen and have the game in the small box in the corner of the TV. Okay people obviously I know this can’t happen, but come on game producers. It’s time to retire some of these old veterans and bring in a new draft class of new young talent. I’m sure there are some college co-eds ready to do just about anything “wink, wink” to get that reporter job. Don’t be stupid now producers it’s ok to use your seniority on these future entry level reporters. I know I would, if I was single. In closing I take a quote from Floyd “Money” Mayweather. “Step your game up!” TV networks. Have a safe Halloween and football weekend sports fans.
